Our Winston-Salem, N.C., campus houses an academic community of almost 9,000 students, with more studying at Wake Forest locations in Charlotte, Washington, D.C., and around the world. Our undergraduate liberal arts curriculum inspires a holistic approach to preparing graduate and professional school students. We graduate leaders with integrity and courage who use their success to make an impact on society.

Wake Forest students win ACC Debate Championship

Sophomores Destiny Hale and Hanna Shakarov have won the 2025 ACC Debate Championship. Hale, a computer science major, was voted the tournament’s top speaker. Shakarov, a business and enterprise management major, was voted the second overall speaker.

Aidan Norris (’25) came to Wake Forest with a passion for engineering and a global perspective shaped by his upbringing. Now he’s graduating with degrees in Engineering and Physics and preparing for his next chapter in Namibia, where he’ll teach math with the Peace Corps.

Celebrating the trees in the Forest! 🌳

For the 14th year, Wake Forest has been named a Tree Campus Higher Education by the Arbor Day Foundation. Students, faculty and staff gathered to plant new trees, measure tree growth and reflect on how caring for our environment is a reflection of #ProHumanitate.
From the newsroom to the stage to the bell tower, Rowan Henchy has made her mark at Wake Forest. Inspired by professors, grounded in her friendships and driven by the motto #ProHumanitate, she is ready to tell stories that matter.
